COLUMBUS, Neb. — Loup Power District officials recently presented lease payment checks totaling more than $190,000 to area communities.
Each of these communities owns their electric distribution systems. These payments compensate them for the use of those systems for the second half of 2020. Communities use the funds for a variety of public projects.
The payments were:
Primrose — $2,898.50
Cornlea — $3,035.58
Monroe — $23,470.90
Tarnov — $2,469.57
Cedar Rapids — $31,166.25
Fullerton — $59,636.44
Howells — $33,920.22
Clarkson — $33,867.72
Total — $190,465.18
