Casey “Bo” Olson of Genoa has been promoted to Plant Operator at the Columbus Powerhouse.
In his new role, Olson monitors and controls the three generation units at Columbus and remotely controls the Monroe Powerhouse. He also works closely with the Genoa Headworks to divert maximum Loup River water into the District canal system for power plant generation.
Olson joined Loup in 2021 as a Dredge/Maintenance Canal Tech.
He is a graduate of Genoa High School. He and his wife, Jill, have one son, Colby.
