Electric service deposits may be required for new customers.
The District reserves the right to require a deposit equal to the customer’s two highest bills in a 12-month period. Customer deposits will accrue interest at a rate determined by the District.
Residential customers will have their deposit plus interest credited to their account when they have established a satisfactory payment record for twelve consecutive months.
Any customer that is required to make a deposit due to late payments, disconnection of service or bankruptcy will be required to establish a satisfactory payment record for 24 consecutive months to have their deposit plus interest credited to their account.
