Sites & Buildings

The District maintains a list and profile of sites and buildings in the communities we serve. The Columbus and four-county area has proven its effectiveness in meeting industry needs and being the home of more than 100 companies. Columbus is headquarters to several companies on the Fortune 500 list and others that hold similar rankings in their particular industry.

We also have many smaller companies that support larger industries and area communities.

Several of our sites and buildings are served by rail either by the Union Pacific Railroad or Nebraska Central Railroad. Nebraska has great access to the lowest electric costs. Natural gas, telecommunications, fiber, water and sewer services are available at many of our sites and buildings.

The following is a list of available sites and buildings. We have a number of state and local incentive programs to assist new companies with start-up and growth.
