
Columbus Division Superintendent Dale Gasper has retired from Loup Power District after nearly 40 years of service.
Gasper joined Loup in 1986 as an Apprentice Line Technician in Humphrey and was promoted to Line Technician later that year. He transferred to the Columbus Service Center in 1989 and was promoted to Journey Line Technician the following year.
In 2012, Gasper was promoted to Crew Leader at the Columbus Service Center and was named Columbus Division Superintendent at the Columbus Service Center in 2014.
As Division Superintendent, Gasper oversaw the construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric system in the Columbus Division. He also supervised the Columbus line and service crews, worked with local contractors, and handled customer contacts regarding new service.
Gasper is a native of Lindsay and a graduate of Newman Grove High School. He earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Utility Line from Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
He and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of three sons: Casey, Jesse, and Jaime.
