Ginny Johnson retires from Loup Power District

August 3, 2026

Ginny Johnson of Genoa has retired from Loup Power District after more than 32 years of service.

Johnson joined Loup in 1994 as a part-time customer service representative at the Genoa office. She was promoted to a full-time customer service representative in 2018 when she started working at both the St. Edward and Genoa offices.

Her responsibilities included greeting customers; processing payments; setting up, transferring, and closing service; taking service calls; and preparing reports.

Johnson is a graduate of Genoa High School. She and her husband, Don, are the parents of four sons: J.J., Andy, Craig, and Scott. They have six grandchildren.
