Mark Romberg Retires

Mark Romberg

Mark Romberg has retired from Loup Power District after 34 years of service.

Romberg joined Loup in 1990 as an Engineering Technician II at the Columbus General Office and was promoted to Engineering Technician I in 1993. In 2006, he was promoted to his current position of Senior Engineering Technician.

Romberg’s primary duties include designing transmission and distribution lines and substations, right-of-way acquisition, surveying, purchasing materials, and writing work orders.

Romberg is a graduate of Albion High School and earned an associate degree in electrical technology from Southeast Community College in Milford.

He and his wife Tammie are the parents of two children, Josh and Jaclyn. They have two grandsons, Jackson and Jax.
