Reeg Retires from Loup Power

Retired Loup Employee James Reeg

James Reeg of Genoa has retired from Loup Power District after more than 45 years of service.

Reeg joined Loup in 1980 as maintenance man at the Genoa Headworks. In 1982, he was promoted to equipment operator. He was promoted to dredge operator in 1993 and was promoted to his current position of dredge lead in 1997.

As dredge lead, Reeg oversaw the operation and maintenance of the District’s dredge at the Genoa Headworks.

Reeg is a graduate of Genoa High School. He and his wife, Joan, are the parents of four children.
