Journey Line/Service Technician Dave Shanno was recently recognized for 30 years of service to Loup Power District.
Shanno worked for the Wahoo Utilities Department and Cornhusker Public Power District before joining Loup in 1996 as a line/service technician in Albion. He was promoted to journey line technician in 1997. His duties include handling the Albion stores work, underground location, substation inspection, distribution service work, and installing and maintaining new customer services.
Shanno is a graduate of Creighton High School. He earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in utility line from Northeast Community College. He and his wife, Heidi, are the parents of two children, Cody and Darien. They have three grandchildren.
