Loup Power District officials recently delivered lease payments totaling more than $1.6 million to area communities.  Each of these communities owns their electric distribution systems. These payments compensate them for the use of those systems for the first quarter of 2024. Five high school graduates were awarded Linkages/STEM/STEAM Scholarships for their work in science, technology, and engineering courses at their high schools.

Loup Power District has awarded scholarships to eight area students who are attending Central Community College in Columbus this fall.

Clint Albracht of Columbus has been promoted to Engineering Technician at Loup Power District. In his new role, Albracht works on substation design.
